Sony Entertainment Television's singing reality show Indian Idol has seen great voices season after season. Recently, Indian Idol 13 premiered on the channel showcasing some extremely extraordinary talents during the audition round. In the upcoming weekend episode, Pritam Roy will amaze the judges with his performance of the song 'Aaoge Jab Tum.' 

Pritam Roy, a 24-year-old boy from the city of Joy - Kolkata will be seen revealing his love for singing inspired by his mother, who is his biggest cheerleader and has also been a singing teacher for 20 years. He will also be seen mentioning how he wants to fulfil his dream through this show. Not only this, but he also reveals his favorite hobby which is sleeping and that he is a very lazy boy who can do anything and everything for just a 5-minute nap. 

 

Impressed by Pritam Roy's performance Vishal Dadlani shares, "Your voice is very soothing to the ears. The way in which you performed this song was brilliant. We are highly impressed by your vocal voice, keep it up!"

 

Contestant Pritam Roy shares, “Participating in Indian Idol has been my dream since childhood. Having a music teacher at home is a great advantage. My mother used to train me and ensured that I get proper training. Coming on this stage is like living in a dream and I am still not able to believe it that I made it to this prestigious platform. I will work hard to make my family, especially my mother proud of me.”

 

Coming from a musical background, it will be interesting to watch what course will Pritam’s journey take on Indian Idol 13.
